- Hi Robert,
We had a wonderful time. The house worked out great for us. Yes, the neighbors were noisy a couple nights. It sounded like a shuffle board type of game or something. Our water turned off one morning, but the management came right away to fix it. Other than that it was great. I would highly recommend it.
Thanks again,

- Robert,
- We had a great time on our trip. We would definitely go back and plan to do so next year. It was the nicest island that we have been to so far and we have traveled extensively in the Caribbean. I wanted to mention one thing that we probably would need a house that had ‘guard rails’ on the stairs. We have small children and the railings were completely open on the top floor and all long the way down. They could have seriously injured themselves. These are things that are no ones fault but I will ask for your help next year in picking a house. It caused a bit of stress while we were there. Thanks for a great trip. We loved Rum Point. We went to 7 Mile one day and did not like anywhere as much as Rum Point. The shallow waters and great restaurant made it easy to return every day without hesitation.

Just wanted to finally take a moment to e-mail about our trip to Grand Cayman and Island House #6:
We had a wonderful vacation and staying at the Island House was the greatest place to be. Both our teenage sons loved the fact that they could walk across the street and be able to swim and snorkel. Rum Point beach was the best place for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling. We were lucky enough to see a large barracuda out by the pier and even spotted 3 string rays on the left hand side later that day. We ventured out most every day to other parts of the island and even spent one afternoon down at Seven Mile Beach. But..all of us decided we loved the slow pace of Rum Point much better than Seven Mile Beach. The people at Red Sail Sports were great - for renting snorkeling equipment and planning day trips to String Ray City. The food and drinks at the Rum Point Grill were great and very reasonably priced.
The Island House was very nice and most comfortable for our family of four. I can't think of a better place to stay in Grand Cayman than the Island Houses!

Mr. Wagner,
I just sent a note about the wonderful time we had in Cayman. But, I also wanted to let you know a few things that we noticed while there. First of all, the new phone for free international calls was not working our first few days there. But, Thelda from the management company was great and had the problem solved in just a couple of days. There is an old washing machine still setting outside the front door of the island house - that was a little unsettling when we drove up (sort of took away from the tropical setting of the place). The a/c units upstairs weren't cooling great the first day so my husband checked the air filters and they were stopped up - so we took them out and cleaned them. The overhead light in the little front den wasn't working - maybe the bulb was burnt out?? The above mentioned things were not a big deal to us and they certainly did not make our vacation any less special than it was. Just thought that you should know about them for future renters.
We left a small soft sided cooler there so others could enjoy taking it along to the beach - it's in the outside storage closet. We found charcoal for the grill already there when we arrived - so we left a bag for the next person to use.
Feel free to send anyone that has questions about our experiences at the Island Houses my e-mail address and I'll be glad to sing your praises!
Thanks again!!!

“Great Property and Location for Family”
Just got back from a Christmas break at Tranquility House (Island House #6) and wish we could have stayed longer. The condo and Rum Point location were perfect for our family with 2 teen boys. The condo gave everyone the space they needed and the location provided all the action we were looking for at Cayman. We loved the bikes and road to Starfish beach (saw lots of starfish), kayaked the bay during a new moon and were amazed at the bioluminescence (other people paid for something we had right outside our door!), snorkeled the areas around Rum Point (lots of fish - even under the pier), and walked across to Red Sail Sports for a 5 minute boat ride to Sting Ray sand bar. Cayman Kai Vacations (Mr. Wagner and Mitzi) made our trip easy and comfortable – Thanks!
Enjoyed the food at Kaibo Beach Bar and Grill, Over the Edge, and the Lighthouse Restaurant on the south side (loved their champagne mojito). Drove over to Georgetown one day for the submarine trip and ate at Guy Harvey’s Island Grill - loved the trip and the food was great but made me glad we were staying at Rum Point. Rum Point is more relaxed and less crowded which worked much better for our family. I recommend a trip to the Botanic garden. We saw several rare blue iguanas and the flowers were beautiful. Also, saw 2 green parrots flying around the parking lot. Unfortunately, the only rude person we met on the entire island was at the gardens but they were one of the guides that bring groups to the garden (not associated with the Botanic garden). He apparently thought his group took priority over the “regular” garden visitors.
