Welcome to Amoraflora. This
one-of-a-kind oceanfront villa in Rum Point offers a 'mini-resort'
experience for large families or vacationing couples (10 adults max,
12 guests total).
Made up of two 'L-shaped' single
story villas with a common breezeway to the sea, the entire property
sits on a 200-foot double wide oceanfront lot. Taking full advantage
of its width and location, Amoraflora boasts 4 oceanfront suites, a
100-foot wide oceanfront deck, 80-foot long custom swimming pool
(25-meter laps), and a pickleball court.

the pool with a plexiglass floor panel allows guests to watch
swimmers pass underneath and enjoys views through the breezeway
to the sea and pickleball court.
Pool lights illuminate the
gazebo through the plexiglass floor with soft lighting perfect
for happy hours.
The original east wing includes a
full kitchen, oceanfront living room, screened porch, and three
bedroom suites. The newly added west wing features a contemporary
open-concept great room with modern kitchen, dining area, and
oceanfront living area. Two bedroom suites are located in the west
wing and open to either the beach on one side or the pool deck on
the other.

West Queen Suite - ocean views,
queen bed, ensuite bath with shower, poolside and beachside

beds (set up as a king), ensuite bath with shower,poolside
and beachside access.
East Master Suite - ocean views,
king bed, ensuite bath with shower, passage to the screened-in
porch, poolside and beachside access.
East King Suite - garden and
pool views, sliding door access to the pool deck, four-poster
king bed, ensuite bath with shower.
Library & Study - optional 6th
sleeping area detached from the west wing. Queen sleeper sofa
with high-quality memory foam mattress. 2 children or smaller
adults.
The villa offers an east and west
driveway and separate entrances. Most guests will use the modern
kitchen in the west wing as the primary cooking area and the east
kitchen as a beverage station should they rent the 5-bedroom
configuration. If the 4-bedroom layout is chosen, the poolside east
king suite, plus the east wing kitchen and living area will be
locked off during your stay (see the final image in the slideshow
above).
Note the 6-bedroom option with the
use of the Queen sleeper sofa in the Den area. Our booking software
assumes double occupancy. 8 persons or fewer will receive the
4-bedroom configuration/rate; 9-10 guests will receive the 5-bedroom
configuration/rate and 11-12 guests will receive the 6-bedroom
configuration/rate. Book your stay accordingly.
Amoraflora has one of the largest
swimming pools of any vacation villa on the island and is protected
from the ocean breeze by its unique floorplan. With lounge chaises
front and back, there is always plenty of seating for oceanfront or
pool-side sunbathing!

Beach Notes
The entire
island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too
far from anywhere on Grand Cayman. The homes on the oceanfront in
Rum Point offer great reef protected snorkeling. The beaches usually
have plenty of white sand, but also can have spots of rocky
“ironshore” with natural rock formations. The closer you get to Rum
Point, usually the sandier the beach as well as swimming. Either
way, with the abundant marine life we have in the water, you will
want to wear foot protection (pool shoes or fins). The prevailing
breeze (trade winds) from the east also makes flying insects less of
a nuisance—many of the homes in Rum Point don’t even need a screened
porch.
The big draw
to this area is the proximity to the Rum Point Club, a public beach
club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach, many water sports, a
restaurant bar and grill, a gift shop, and pick-up beach volleyball
games. Also near Rum Point is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar
and marina
Lastly, we
have 2 large resorts in the east end (Morritts and The Reef) that
offer manicured beaches as well as restaurants, a modern grocery
store, liquor store, gift shops, a Subway sandwich shop, and a
cafe/pastry shop. These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips,
jet skis, windsurfing, kiteboarding, ocean front pools and bar
service.

All
beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen
owns up to the high water mark and the shoreline quality behind
your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or
water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the
images on our website because of the weather. The next-door
beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean
Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches
in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed
seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed
that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although
sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in
summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and
will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should
sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will
reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may
include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work
around mother nature.

bedrooms, non-holiday nightly rates are an additional $100
per night lower.
Unoccupied bedrooms will be locked off for the duration of
your stay.

Travel
planning can be unpredictable right now with reopening protocols
subject to change by the government. That’s why we have expanded
our cancellation policy to provide you peace of mind should the
pandemic upend your travel plans.
Within 60
days of your arrival, should there be no reasonable transport
options to Grand Cayman or an unforeseen quarantine is required,
you will have two options:
Defer
your trip up to 12 months from the planned arrival date with
full payment credited towards a subsequent similar stay, or
Request to cancel for a full refund of monies paid less a
3.50% cancellation fee.

Sanitation
We're
committed to the health and safety of all our guests and have
adopted enhanced
cleaning safeguards to suppress the spread
of COVID-19.
All
villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival
using health agency-approved cleaners and disinfectants. We also
ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning
products.
Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking
in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your
property manager upon arrival on-island.
