Welcome to Great Bluff Estates, a gated oceanfront villa set into
the bluffs of Grand Cayman’s Northside.
This recently renovated 5-6 bedroom home offers a large family all
they could want from excellent snorkeling steps off the backyard to
a stunning elevated sundeck and private freshwater pool and hot
tub.
The curb appeal of Great Bluff Estates includes a cobalt-blue tiled
roof, bright white stucco exterior, and a terra cotta circular
driveway that can easily accommodate multiple rental vehicles.
The home offers multiple oceanfront decks and balconies, two tiers
of terraced artificial grass near the shoreline, two furnished
cabanas, and a new concrete path to the ocean. The beach is
naturally pebbly, so the owner maintains a raked sandy area for
water access.
Guests can relax in ultimate privacy as the owner owns the
undeveloped lot next door to the east. The snorkeling here is
amazingly diverse due to there being very few homes in the area. We
tend to see spotted eagle rays, octopus, lobster, eels, and many
schools of fish inhabiting the coral heads. There is also rarely any
current in the waters here.

LOWER LEVEL
The open-concept great room features an oceanfront sunroom with
walk-out access to an oceanfront deck overlooking the pool. The
deck comes furnished with a large sectional sofa under the
shade.
The living area is equipped with a large HD television with
cable programming, Apple TV, and a DVD player.
Large gourmet kitchen with ocean views and outdoor grilling
gazebo with a propane grill.
The east wing offers a queen suite towards the front of the home
and an oceanfront study with a queen sofa bed that shares the
hall bathroom.
The west wing offers a full queen suite, laundry room, and
powder room.
UPPER LEVEL
The east wing provides two queen suites: one with garden views,
and one with ocean views.
The master suite spans over 1,500 sq. ft. across the entire west
wing of the home.
The upper-level oceanfront balcony is shared between the master
suite and the upper east suite.
POOL DECK
The pool deck provides elevated ocean views and comes furnished
with chaise lounges, a hammock, and a family-style dining table.
Freshwater private pool with complimentary pool heat provided
for winter arrivals (Dec 15 - Apr 15).
Covered veranda with wet bar, fridge, counter space, and patio

Upper East Suite: queen bed, upper-level, oceanfront views,
walk-out access to shared ocean balcony, ensuite bath with
shower.
Upper Garden Suite: queen bed, upper-level, garden views,
ensuite bath with shower.
Lower West Suite: queen bed, lower-level, garden views, ensuite
bath with shower tub combo.
Lower East Suite: queen bed, lower-level, garden views, shares
connected full bath with den.
Den: queen sleeper sofa, lover-level, ocean views, shares
connected hall bath with the lower east suite.
Conveniently located within 10-15 minutes of restaurants and casual
island lunch spots. Some restaurants provide complimentary
door-to-door shuttle service!
Two large resorts with manicured beaches, water sports, and gift
shops are a short 5-minute drive away. A small shopping plaza with a
supermarket and a wine and spirits distributor is across the street
from the two resorts.
We offer a slightly lower rate for small groups of 10 guests not
needing the den sleeper sofa on the lower level. Click the Rates tab

Beach Notes
The beach
behind Great Bluff Estates is both pebbly and sandy. It is by no
means a barefoot beach as the beach here is reef protected which
creates a marine environment of corals and grasses for all of our
marine life to live in! Please wear pool shoes or swim fins when in
the water and be mindful not to damage the corals.
The
snorkeling here is superb, as there are never many snorkelers in the
water to spook the rays, tarpon, grouper, juvenile schools, etc. We
often see eagle rays swimming by from the pool deck...as well as
lines of squid out near the reef.
If you want a
barefoot beach for swimming, we have two large resorts in the east
end only 10 minutes from us that are both open to the public, have
restaurants, bars, watersports, etc.

beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen
owns up to the high water mark and the shoreline quality behind
your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or
water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the
images on our website because of the weather. The next-door
beach is also always available for your use.
Ocean
Debris & Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches
in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed
seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed
that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although
sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in
summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and
will have the beach raked prior to your arrival.
Should
sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will
reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may
include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work
around mother nature.
