Crystal Waters is directly oceanfront on a 200-foot wide barefoot beach in Cayman Kai. Quiet clear waters and panoramic ocean views await in this 5,200 sq foot island getaway.

The oceanfront first-floor sunporch spans the entire width of the house, allowing guests to enjoy expansive Caribbean views from the kitchen, dining, TV and family areas. This home has just about everything.

The pool was recently completed with a shallow waddle area for chaise lounges, a poolside veranda with sofa seating, and a large beach deck for entertaining*. The wide lot permits the new owner to offer plenty of privacy while also being conveniently located in Cayman Kai.

Location is paramount for Crystal Waters. This wonderful Caribbean villa is across the street from the Kaibo Yacht Club and restaurant. Starfish Point is a 5-minute walk west and the famous Rum Point Club is about a 10-minute walk north. The Kaibo offers watersports, a beach bar, take out pizza, coffee shop, Camana Bay Ferry service and easy charter boat pick up for our guests.

The ocean views from Crystal Waters include the catamarans crossing from Camana Bay to Rum Point, as well as the famous stingray sandbar and snorkeling charters in the north sound. Seldom will you see anyone walk by your beach during the week as beach access is restricted to the public.

Bedroom & Bathroom Layout

  • Master Suite: Upper-level Oceanfront king suite with shared balcony access, a second private patio, a row of stunning windows, and an ensuite bath.
  • Middle Queen Bedroom: Upper-level bedroom with queen bed, TV, (2) ensuite shared bathrooms.
  • Oceanfront West Queen Bedroom: Upper-level bedroom with a queen bed, ocean views, and a shared bath (with above).
  • Ocean View Queen Suite: Main floor suite with a queen bed, window to the sun porch, with ensuite bath.
  • Garden View-Queen Bedroom: Main floor bedroom with a queen bed and adjacent full bath.
  • (New) Upper-level Garden View, 6th Bedroom suite: King bed, TV, ensuite (private option) bathroom.

Crystal Waters Notable Features 

  • An open floor plan of 5,200 square feet offers both inviting living and dining rooms, along with a spacious TV/family room, modern kitchen, and a lovely new oceanfront deck.
  • The living room is equipped with an entertainment hub featuring a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV, surround sound home theater system, and DVD player.
  • The first floor consists of the living and dining areas, pool veranda and sunporch areas, plus 2 queen bedrooms each with a bathroom (one is ensuite).
  • The second floor offers an oceanfront king master suite and 2 queen bedrooms that share a large bathroom. 
  • Family queen suite with an attached media room with a pull-out sofa for couples with smaller children who may wish to sleep closer to their parents.
  • The second floor also offers an outdoor railed terrace with outdoor furniture.
  • Second-floor king master also has a private terrace with outdoor furniture as well. 
  • Modern kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, free-standing ice maker and of course a blender for frozen drinks!
  • A wet bar sits off the dining area and includes an under-counter wine color, mini-fridge, and sink.
  • Sun-filled living room with plenty of seating, entertainment center, satellite TV, DVD Player, and stereo system.

For your peace of mind, the owner also offers a security system. There is a separate utility room with a full-size clothes washer and dryer.

Sleeps up 10 adults, 12 total guests including children sleeping in roll-aways or pullout sofa. Infants sleeping in cribs do not count against occupancy.

*Note: A Cleaning Fee is included due to enhanced cleaning, sanitation, and inspection protocols.

**Pool heat is available for a weekly surcharge of $250.

Beach Notes

Cos Kai enjoys a beautiful barefoot white sand beach and northwestern sunset views facing the Stingray Sandbar.  One can walk barefoot all the way down to Starfish point about a mile away. 

The Kaibo is only 300 yards from the house and an excellent place to grab a morning coffee, casual lunch, or elegant dinner in their upstairs dining area.  The Kaibo also has a marina and is where many private charters will collect guests for private deep-sea fishing trips, snorkel safaris, or charters to Stingray City.

General Grand Cayman Beach Notes

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen owns up to the high water mark and the shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally. Be advised that the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website because of the weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed

Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked prior to your arrival. 

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work around mother nature.

Booking Rules

  • 5 nights minimum stay required.
  • 6 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Thanksgiving week.
  • 7 nights minimum and full occupancy required over Christmas and New Year's.
  • Christmas & New Year's dates are split into two rental periods. Please inquire with your travel dates prior to booking.
  • Shorter stays may be available but subject to a higher cleaning fee. Please inquire before booking.
  • Must be 25 years or older to book and must occupy the property during the entire stay.

Flexible Cancellation Options

Travel planning can be unpredictable right now with reopening protocols subject to change by the government. That’s why we have expanded our cancellation policy to provide you peace of mind should the pandemic upend your travel plans.

Within 60 days of your arrival, should there be no reasonable transport options to Grand Cayman or an unforeseen quarantine is required, you will have two options:

  1. Defer your trip up to 12 months from the planned arrival date with full payment credited towards a subsequent similar stay, or
  2. Request to cancel for a full refund of monies paid less a 3.50% cancellation fee.

Villa Cleaning & Sanitation

We're committed to the health and safety of all our guests and have adopted enhanced cleaning safeguards to suppress the spread of COVID-19. All villas are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest's arrival using health agency-approved cleaners and disinfectants. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products.

Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.
